Editorial standards.
How the Pink.TV journal is written, sourced, fact-checked, and reviewed. Last updated April 27, 2026.
Who we are.
The Pink.TV Journal is the editorial arm of Pink.TV — a privately held premium domain offered for direct acquisition. We publish a small library of essays on the color pink: its cultural history, its function as a brand asset, and the design choices behind the world's most recognizable pink identities. Posts are written and reviewed by the Pink.TV editorial team, led by an editor with experience in brand strategy and publishing.
Sourcing standards.
Every factual claim is supported by a named, public source. We prioritize, in roughly this order:
- Peer-reviewed research and published books.
- Reporting from established editorial outlets (National Geographic, Time, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Reuters, Bloomberg, and similar).
- First-party brand documentation (Pantone publications, brand-color databases, official corporate filings).
- Trade publications and recognized industry references for color, design, and branding.
Where a claim is widely repeated but originally sourced to a single piece, we cite the original. Where a number appears in multiple places with slightly different values (this happens often in brand-color documentation), we publish both and flag the discrepancy.
What we don't do.
- We do not invent statistics, sales figures, or quotes.
- We do not paraphrase a source closely enough to obscure its origin. If a sentence is a paraphrase, the source is cited inline.
- We do not republish syndicated SEO content or AI-generated summaries.
- We do not accept payment for placement, links, or favorable coverage of any brand mentioned in our posts.
Disclosure.
The Pink.TV Journal is published by the owner of the domain Pink.TV. The journal exists, in part, to demonstrate the editorial value of the domain to potential acquirers. Brands mentioned in posts (Barbie, T-Mobile, Lyft, Glossier, and others) are referenced as documented examples in publicly available branding literature. None of those brands are commercial partners, sponsors, or affiliates of Pink.TV. No payment has been received in exchange for any mention.
Review process.
Each post is reviewed before publication for: factual accuracy against cited sources; internal consistency; readability and clarity; and adherence to the standards above. Posts are reviewed annually thereafter, and updated where new public information warrants. The "Last reviewed" date on each post reflects the most recent review.
Corrections.
If you find a factual error in any Pink.TV post, please write to offers@pink.tv. Corrections are made promptly. Substantive changes — those that alter a factual claim — are noted at the foot of the affected post, with the original text preserved in the correction note.
